Like you, I've looked all over for these things. From the picture, it looks like the lid clears the top of the posts with enough room to add a PVC fitting for vent hose. They make one for end to end and side to side installs of 6 volters. I just ordered a box from Allied Battery (post above).

Plus there is the corrosive mist/gases from the acid. That's Hydrogen being released along with oxygen - just whats needed for an explosion. Remember all that boiling during heaving charging. So taking a bank of 6V's way down dry camping (this is why we want the big banks in the first place, right?) and then bringing them back up with your 30 or 40amp charger in an enclosed space is asking for trouble. Try any large battery supplier such as interstate batteries etc. I have been looking over the internet and cannot find a supplier for the 6 volt vented cases.
