You can access the FDM Validtor here: Over the next year, we are planning to move the rest of our order process to an online storefront which will work with the live validator interface and make the order process very easy (our customer service reps will still be available to assist in any way we can!).

Starting July 3, Printing and Copying Services will join other University Internal Service Providers in asking that orders submitted be accompanied by a PDF copy of the FDM Validator showing the Worktags to be used for billing job charges so that we may take advantage of the barcode generated by the FDM Validator.

Jobs not already in hand will require an FDM. We’re happy to use an alternate FDM if provided. At Printing and Copying Services, we are trying to make the transition from PTAO’s to FDM’s as easy as possible for our customers and will be following the University’s planned conversion methodology and using the UVAFST Mapping Output PTAO to FDM Conversion Results as the source tool to identify the new Workday FDM Worktag string to convert the PTAO on open jobs in house (not billed as of May 31) to the applicable FDM.
